A child of the 60s, I was born and raised in the Inland Northwest, briefly transplanted to the mid west, and am currently thriving in sunny Orange Ca. My journey designing cars professionally began when I was 17, with the Jolly Rancher wheel standing fire truck. Along the way I spent many years working a "day job" as a UPS driver, but around the turn of the century committed to full time freelance design.

I have been a "recognized" name in the hot rod/custom culture/lowbrow art scene for decades, and co-created a notoriuos northwest car club called "Thee Inland Emperors". I've  even been lucky enough to own an actual "Barris" kustom, the 1951 ASTRA coupe...

My work has been featured and published in hundreds of magazines. I have designed AMBR and RIDLER contenders, cover cars, record setting cars, cars for video games, toy lines, apparel and merchandise for countless well known clients.  I am most proud of my connection to Star Wars, and the line of Star Wars Hot Wheels cars I helped create... My Clients list include General Motors, Acura, Mattel, EA Games, Galpin Ford (GAS), Jagermeister, Disney, Lucas film, Universal pictures, Billetproof, ZZtop, Speedway motors, Goodguys, Shine speedshop, Walden speed shop, Old Anvil speedshop, IDA concepts, SEMA and so many more I cant possibly list them all.

I am proud to say that I am self taught and have over three decades of experience. An expert conceptual sketch artist, highly skilled in several forms of digital art from Adobe suite to Fusion 360 3-D modeling, and respectable with paint and a brush. My design sense is proudly outside of the box and has been proven time and time again to set trends rather than follow them.

IN 2014 AFTER MANY YEARS FREELANCING, i WAS DRAFTED INTO MATTEL TO DESIGN REAL CARS FOR A HOT WHEELS MOVIE. THE MOVIE WAS CANCELED BUT I WENT ON TO DESIGN HOT WHEELS, MANY OF THEM IN THE STARWARS CHARACTER CAR LINE UP.

In 2017 I went to work rebranding Jimmy Shine into Shine Speedshop AFTER SoCAL speed shop ended. i spent 4 years there designing, marketing, creating merch and overseeing projects. in summer of '22 I left Shine and entered into a suedo-partnership at Old Anvil Speed shop, a friends business I had been working with since 2017, creating their brand, logos, merch and designing most of their projects. as of 2024 i have returned to freelancing.

in addition to all of this I am proud of my 20 year plus association to the car show circuit Billetproof which I now own but has been in limbo since the covid shutdowns of '20 threw '22, perhaps it will return in 2025. Perhaps you would like to franchise a show? hit me up
